Due to business travel the annual Crystal Firs HOA meeting originally scheduled for Nov 15th 2017 will be temporarily postponed and rescheduled as soon as possible. Updated communication will be sent as soon as a new date has been determined.
Until we are able to meet in person here are some important updates that all HOA members should be aware of.
WEBSITE & COMMUNICATION:
The Crystal Firs Home Owners Association website WWW.CRYSTALFIRS.COM is active and is now the primary source for all information regarding our HOA. From this website all HOA members now have direct access to the current CC&R’s and R&R’s as well as the latest communication regarding the projects and activities happening in our community.
In addition to the general communication and status updates there is a restricted access sections for our governing documents including our Meeting Minutes, Budgets and Financial Records which are now available to all HOA members via secure access. To obtain access to this section please send an email to HOA@CRYSTALFIRS.COM to obtain the current password. Passwords will changed on a regular basis and will only be provided to HOA members that send a request from an email that matches the current active email list in our Crystal Firs HOA directory.
NEW CRYSTAL FIRS EMAIL
We be shutting down and discontinuing the use of the HOACRYTALFIRS@GMAIL.COM email alias in favor of our own email which is now HOA@CRYSTALFIRS.COM
Please make sure to update your email records with this important change.
ELECTRONIC NOTIFICATIONS & UPDATES:
The HOA Board has been sending and will continue to send electronic updates regarding changes within the community. This information is being sent to those members that have an active email, mobile device or both listed on the current Crystal Firs HOA Directory. If you have not been receiving the electronic updates regarding the installation of the trees or the launch of the website you may need to update your email or mobile phone information. This can be accomplished by sending an email to HOA@CRYSTALFIRS.COM with your preferred email and or mobile phone information.
CC&R & CR&R VIOLATION ENFORCEMENT:
The transition to Century21 Property Management is complete; however due to significant feedback the process for initiating and submitting notifications between the Board, Century21 and Homeowners is currently under re-evaluation. We will be forming a committee to review the process as we move into 2018. If you received a notification and have an opinion to share please consider volunteering to help improve the process.

As 2018 approaches we are in the process of analyzing and updating the following:
- CC&R – CR&R Violations and Enforcement
- Process Review and Analysis – When and How to notify homeowners
- How to address the increase in basketball hoops
- How to manage the increase of Street Parking
- How to manage and capture existing and new tenant contact information
- Lawn Maintenance – Do we need to water during extended heat?
- ACC – Architectural Change Requests –
- Improving access to and submission of Change Request
- Review & Approval of Change Requests
- Improving the turnaround time for ACC approval
- Landscape Projects
- Tree Maintenance – Gator Bags or Irrigation
- Watering the “Common Areas” – Gaining Access to Water
- Planting Strips – Design Creation, Review & Approval
- Planting Strips – On going maintenance plan
- Open Area – Design Creation, Review & Approval
