July 13, 2020 Via Face Time
Present: Ben Bunker, Harman Bajwa, Whitney Mullins and John Walsworth
Called to order: 9:05 am.
President’s Agenda
- Homeowner request to construct a “Little Free Library” on her property. We will need the details of size and location for the Board to decide. Ben will email to the homeowner.
- Harman will be the contact person to communicate with Tim’s Landscape Service (our new company).
- Whitney will continue to act as Treasurer in coordination with Century 21 until the end of June. John will take over the role on July 1st. With thanks for her service, Whitney is leaving the Board on June 30.
- The Board gave permission to the property owner of lot #45 to run a pipe from the below-house sump pump to the underground drain in the HOA common area (near pond) for the purpose of getting excess water into the drainage. The installation and maintenance are at the owners’ expensive.
Other topics discussed
- The homeowner fence repair issue was tabled until fall.
- Tim’s Landscaping began on June1, 2020.
- Our broken sign repair/replace will have to wait pending budget constraints. We will know more after the mid-year assessments are received next month.
- The broken mailbox was replaced. The new box was covered by our insurance, but we had to pay the $500 deductible.
- The drainage problem has been completed, and the run-off over the sidewalk has been remedied.
- Century 21 has provided an HOA list that is in a format that can be edited so that we can update and add new information. This list will be used to make announcements of HOA matters.
- We also discussed HOA landscape issues, especially the street tree strips and the “triangle island” by the mailboxes.
Next meeting in about 6 weeks to be announced by the president.
