Randy Whitaker – not available to attend the meeting
Meeting opened with the discussion of Action Items.
Action items list:
Sign project:
- Randy is spearheading the new sign project but because he wasn’t able to attend this meeting to give us an update on any contacts or progress made Brooke will start an email discussion/thread w/ the board members to see where we are at with the signage project. Brooke also sent another picture of an idea for the neighborhood sign.
- $4,000 is what is approved for the sign per the budget. We had a discussion that we could possibly add more to this budget if needed but need to get Randy’s input where he is at. We are all in favor of increasing the budget for the sign to $6,000 if needed.
- John will reach out to Century 21 to see what their thoughts are as far as what is in reserve money.
- The box that is behind the signage from Quest isn’t fixed. Ben said he has contacted them on numerous occasions but they haven’t ever sent someone out.
Wetland “junk” piles:
- Randy – will work on junk piles over in the wetland area this weekend. Randy will rent a trailer and take to the dump and HOA will reimburse.
Spring Clean:
- We talked about the possibility of bringing back “spring clean” in June to clean up the wetland area. We would put the sandwich board out to see if we can get some volunteers to help clean up the wetlands area where garbage blows in. Even if just a few families signed up for a time that worked for them, it doesn’t have to all be done at the same time.
Century 21:
- Ben will get in contact with Century 21 to ask that they send us a monthly email of new homeowners in the neighborhood.
- Trash cans – if anyone notices trash cans not being brought in etc we can have century 21 send them a letter.
Complaints:
- Red car – There have been complaints of a red car being parked in the wetlands area but isn’t any longer after Ben spoke to them and let them know that they can’t park it there. They explained they don’t have enough parking spots. Ben will follow up and encourage speaking neighbor to neighbor as there is nothing else we could do as an HOA board at this time.
Open Discussion:
- Text message – the HOA board will send reminders to each other a few days before hand meetings as a reminder to all to ensure we don’t miss meetings.
- Next Meeting scheduled: We will shoot for 6 weeks from now.
