CRYSTAL FIRS HOA – BOARD MEETING
October 24, 2020 Via Face Time
Called to order: 9:00am
Present: Ben Bunker, Harman Bajwa, and John Walsworth
President’s Agenda Items:
- Crystal Firs Sign Area – Ben removed excess cement pieces and debris. After many phone calls for repair, the Qwest utility box is still loose with exposed wires below. Harman will follow up.
- Fence Repair – Century 21 sent notices for the homeowners to make necessary repairs. Most were fixed, some were not completely finished. Two homeowners will replace fences in the spring.
- Dog Complaints –Excessive barking and jumping against the fence as pedestrians walk by. Homeowner has been advised about complaint, and there is some confusion over the wording in the by-laws and CC&Rs. John will follow up.
- The Little Free Library is finished and ready for the neighbors to take advantage of some pandemic reading. We are encouraged to take a book or to replace one of your own. No charge or late fees. Check it out at: 27247 212th Ave SE.
- Annual Meeting Preparation of HOA for mid-December. Ben will set the agenda send the notifications to the homeowners. John will work with Century 21 to compile 2020 financial report and a proposed budget for 2021. Date to be announced later.
- Holiday Engines (fire engines) will be coming again this year during the holidays. The fire department along with local youth volunteers and Santa will be touring the Maple Valley neighborhoods collecting food for the MV Food Bank. Details will follow.
